Shopping lists for reagents

Friday, April 13, 2007 at 12:40 pm CDT by David Crotty permalink

One of the most annoying things about trying out a new method is tracking down all of the reagents necessary to do the experiment. Having to dig through catalogs or search through websites can consume major amounts of time. To make CSH Protocols that much easier to use, we’re working with supply companies to put together reagent lists to save you time in preparing for your experiments.

You can see examples of these shopping lists on a few protocols scattered throughout the site (try here, here, here and here as starters). Follow the link from Sigma to see a pre-set shopping list of reagents they provide for those protocols. If you think these will save you time and you’d like to see more, please let us know, and we’ll pass word along to supply companies and add lists to the site.
