Oh, to be a fly on the wall

Came across this wonderful photo today (see it after the jump below), from Lewis Held’s book on Imaginal Discs. It’s from January, 1919, taken at a party to celebrate the return of Alfred Sturtevant from service in World War I. In it, you can see nearly all of the great fly pioneers, including T.H. Morgan, Calvin Bridges, Hermann Muller, Sturtevant, and one odd fellow you may or may not recognize.
